If you’re dreaming of a tropical escape with your best friends, look no further than the Virgin Islands. Our recent girls’ trip was a whirlwind of fun, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. We stayed at the luxurious Westin Fisherman’s Reef on St. Thomas and packed our days with thrilling activities. Here’s a peek into our itinerary and some tips for planning your own unforgettable adventure in this paradise.

Day 1: Arrival and Paradise Point
Our journey began with a Delta Airlines flight from NYC to St. Thomas, which took around four hours. The flight was smooth and efficient, setting the tone for an exciting getaway. We landed at 12:11 PM, and a pre-arranged taxi was waiting for us at the airport to whisk us away to our hotel. The check-in process at the Westin Fisherman’s Reef was quick, and by 2 PM, we were ready to start exploring.
Our first stop was the Paradise Point Skyride, which offered breathtaking views of the island. The skyride was an exhilarating experience and a perfect introduction to the natural beauty of St. Thomas. After enjoying the views, we dined at Prime at Paradise Point, where we savored delicious cuisine while watching the sunset.

Day 2: Underwater Adventures and Scenic Views
The next morning, we started with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before heading out for a unique underwater experience. We hopped on a glass-bottom boat with New Season Watersports, capturing stunning underwater scenes and vibrant marine life in our photos.

After our boat adventure, we explored Drake’s Seat, known for its panoramic views of the island. We then made our way to the Charlotte Amalie Overlook, which was conveniently close to Drake’s Seat. Both spots offered some of the best vistas on the island.
We returned to the hotel for dinner, where we enjoyed a relaxed evening before our next day’s adventure.

Day 3: Boat Cruise to St. John and Local Delights
Our third day was filled with excitement as we set out on a boat cruise with Midnight Sun Boat Charters. The four-hour tour took us from St. Thomas to St. John, with an early lunch stop at Pizza Pi VI—a must-visit for pizza lovers. After returning to the hotel, we had the rest of the afternoon to explore.

We visited Mountain Top, where we indulged in their famous banana daiquiris. Alternatively, you can enjoy some beach time at Coki Beach, Magens Beach, or Lindquist Beach—each offering its own charm and beauty.
Dinner was a treat at Luna Mar, a local favorite known for its exquisite dining experience.
Day 4: Beach Hopping and Farewell
On our final day, we had a few more hours to soak in the island vibes. We visited Secret Harbour Beach and enjoyed a relaxing morning before preparing for our departure. The tranquil atmosphere of Secret Harbour Beach was the perfect end to our trip.
